Ide Hill is an excellent centre for walking and is well
supplied with footpaths and bridlepaths including the Greensand Way. |
In the district there are many places of interest including Knole, Hever
Castle, Chartwell, Emmetts Garden and Penshurst Place.
The village offers stunning views over the Weald towards Bough
Beech Reservoir which has a nature reserve, fly-fishing and sailing facilities.

The Woodman is at Goathurst Common, less than a
mile from the centre of the village. The pub is located in an idyllic spot, nestling in
the beautiful countryside surrounded by historic houses and the
